Imperial Irrigation District to award fallowing money soon

From the Imperial Valley Press:

Applications for Local Entity funds should be coming to the Imperial Irrigation District Board of Directors within the next two weeks, said one of the entity’s coordinators at Tuesday’s board meeting.

“We’ll have our part done,” said coordinator Glenn Sampson. “That’s what we’re shooting for.”

Sampson, who worked on the previous incarnation of the Local Entity, has been working on gathering and reviewing the funding applications for things such as accuracy and completeness. Which applicants actually get money will be left up to the IID Board of Directors.
