Saturday’s top of the scroll: Release of BDCP-related documents announced

Another thin day for statewide water news, except for this announcement from the Bay Delta Conservation Plan:

“Following an announcement from earlier this week that the state and federal partners developing the BDCP will enhance transparency in developing the Bay Delta Conservation Plan by speeding access to draft technical documents, BDCP is making a list of expected release dates available to the public. In the spirit of openness and transparency, key BDCP-related documents will be posted on the internet and made available to all parties at the same time. These preliminary drafts will be released to the public and all stakeholders before the public drafts of the BDCP and the Environmental Impact Report/Environmental Impact Statement (EIR/EIS) are released for formal public review and comment in 2012.
