“U.S. House of Representatives on Wednesday passed HR 1837, a bill that would increase water deliveries to the San Joaquin Valley and Southern California from the Delta.
The bill, authored by Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Tulare, saw a sharp, but familiar divide between Northern California and interests south of the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta and between agribusiness and environmentalists.
Now a nonpartisan organization : MapLight of Berkeley : has tracked how much has been paid and by whom to members of Congress over the issue. … “
