Draft EIR for North Bay Water Reuse Authority water recycling project lays out options

From Napa’s Newsphere:

A draft environmental impact report has been released for a planned water recycling project in the North bay that will serve parts of East Napa.

The North Bay Water Reuse Authority, (NBWRA) which issued the report, includes five participating agencies from Napa, Sonoma and Marin counties. The agency’s primary purpose is to “provide recycled water for agricultural, urban, and environmental uses and to promote the expanded beneficial use of recycled water” in the region, the agency’s website states.

The water reuse project would include upgrades of treatment processes and construction of pipelines, pump stations, and storage to distribute recycled water for use in Napa, Sonoma and Marin counties.

In Napa County, recycled water would be supplied initially to large users who want the water in the Milliken-Sarco-Tulocay Creek area, on the East side of Napa, known as MST. The project is being led by Napa County and the producer would be Napa Sanitation District.
