Are you aware that there has not been an Environmental Inpact Study or Report for this project. This project is slated to be a health and safety issue to residents in the southern communities of Bethel Island & Discovery Bay (appx 10,000 residents), recreational boaters and fishermen, youth and adults who waterski and ride jet ski's, the increase of stagnated waterways and the increase of mosquito larvae (aks West Nile Virus), and the potential depletion and excessive fines for the water treatment plant in Discovery Bay. PLEEASE relocate these gates...This historical riverway will be dessimated for an unfounded experiment.
